A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Providing first-line technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
- Assisting with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of hotel IT infrastructure and equipment.
- Supporting hotel systems including PMS, POS, Wi-Fi, IPTV, telephony, and back-office applications.
- Monitoring system performance and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
- Maintaining user accounts, access permissions, and IT asset inventories.
- Assisting with system backups, software updates, and security procedures.
- Coordinating with vendors and service providers for equipment maintenance and support.
- Ensuring compliance with IHG technology standards, policies, and cybersecurity requirements.
- Maintaining accurate records of support requests, system configurations, and IT documentation.
- Supporting pre-opening technology projects and system implementations.
What we need from you
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration role, preferably within hospitality.
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with hospitality systems such as PMS and POS is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive and service-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
