Key Responsibilities
- Operate flexographic/rotogravure printing machines as per production requirements.
- Set up printing jobs according to approved specifications, artwork, and customer requirements.
- Monitor print quality, color consistency, registration, and overall machine performance during production.
- Prepare and adjust inks, cylinders, sleeves, and other printing materials.
- Perform machine start-up, changeovers, and shutdown procedures efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance of printing equipment.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and coordinate with maintenance for major breakdowns.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while minimizing waste and downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records, machine logs, and quality documentation.
- Follow all quality, safety, housekeeping, and company procedures.
- Coordinate with quality control, planning, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the printing area.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience operating printing machines in the flexible packaging industry.
- Experience in flexographic and/or rotogravure printing operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of printing inks, substrates, color matching, and print quality standards.
