Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day operations of flexographic/rotogravure printing machines.
- Ensure production is carried out according to approved specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.
- Monitor machine performance, productivity, and material consumption.
- Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure proper machine setup, color matching, registration, and print quality throughout production.
- Monitor and control waste, downtime, and production losses.
- Train, guide, and evaluate printing operators and assistants.
- Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and company policies.
- Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and machine performance data.
Requirements
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Printing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 8-15years of experience in flexible packaging printing operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of rotogravure and/or flexographic printing processes.
- Good understanding of inks, substrates, color management, and print quality standards.
- Ability to lead teams and manage production targets effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
