Associate Cloud Engineer

Development, Operation, and maintenance of the AI Cloud Infrastructure Lead a team of Cloud engineers. Manage Customer onboarding / deboarding to Cloud Implementing and managing cloud environments. This includes coding for automation, setup, deployment, and maintenance of cloud solutions. Regularly monitoring the performance of cloud Infrastructure and optimize resource utilization and cost and implement necessary improvements. Providing technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues. Support customers in developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans. Leading projects and cross-functional collaboration efforts related to cloud initiatives. Interacting with customers and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and providing technical expertise and solutions that align with their objectives. Managing cloud-related costs, ensuring efficient use of resources, and identifying areas for cost reduction without compromising service quality. Ensuring that all cloud services comply with relevant security standards and regulations. Governance of Infrastructure Managed services operations Work in agile interdisciplinary teams with internal and external customers. Participate in the development of optimized deployment scripts and methods. Interpret and provide solutions on complex technologies/architectures. Scripting image deployment and bootstrapping Coordinating with customers to ensure that their applications are efficiently functioning in cloud computing environment. Offering guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members. Performing capacity planning to ensure that Infrastructure is adequately upgraded to meet the demands. Troubleshooting problems with existing applications or computer networks to identify and resolve issues. Recommending improvements to existing infrastructure and developing plans for future growth Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations. Use industry knowledge and experience to continuously assess the environment and drive improvements that use the latest technology. Help automate and streamline operations and processes. Communicate with leaders, stakeholders, and users on process changes and proposals for future improvements. 5+ years in Cloud computing roles Hands-on experience with cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and cloud migrations. Experience in system administration, network administration, or database administration Fluency in English is essential. Arabic is an advantage. Proficiency in major cloud service platforms like AWS, Azure, Huawei, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), etc. Understanding their services, tools, and architectures is crucial. Proficiency in AI Infrastructure solutions Deep understanding of cloud computing fundamentals, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, serverless architectures, and cloud-native applications. Knowledge of programming languages (like Python, Java, Node.js) and scripting languages for automation (like Bash, PowerShell). Understanding of cloud networking architectures, security protocols, and best practices in cloud security, including identity and access management (IAM), firewalls, VPNs, and data encryption. Skills in managing and administering databases, both SQL (like MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (like MongoDB, Cassandra), including database migration to the cloud. DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Familiarity with DevOps practices, as well as CI/CD tools (like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) for efficient software deployment. Experience with container technologies (like Docker) and orchestration platforms (like Kubernetes, Docker Swarm). Knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager for automating the setup of cloud infrastructure. Ability to use monitoring tools (like Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch) and techniques to ensure efficient performance and cost management. Understanding of disaster recovery principles and tools for ensuring data integrity and availability. Awareness of relevant legal and compliance issues related to cloud computing, including data privacy laws and industry-specific regulations. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a team, excellent communication skills, and the ability to stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements. Support in designs and evolves automation for deployment of IaaS instances and services and the consumption/integration with PaaS services; Hands-on experience in cloud computing, including designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud solutions. Working experience with AI Infrastructure Proven experience working with major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Huawei or Google Cloud Platform. Practical experience in DevOps practices and tools Experience in implementing and managing containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Proficiency in scripting and automation to streamline cloud operations. Strong background in cloud networking concepts and troubleshooting Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager for automating cloud infrastructure deployment. Experience in leading cloud projects, including planning, execution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Skills in mentoring junior engineers and leading technical teams. Experience in implementing and managing cloud security measures. Experience of migration from on-premises to Cloud Strong experience building product delivery schedules and roadmaps.
