We are looking for a passionate and service-oriented Barista to join our Food & Beverage team at NH Collection Dubai The Palm.
As a Barista, you will prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages while providing warm, friendly, and professional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and hotel standards.
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests.
- Maintain good knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods, beverage menus, and available products.
- Take guest orders accurately and provide recommendations based on preferences.
- Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and temperature of all beverages served.
- Support upselling of beverages, pastries, and other menu items.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment correctly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and service areas.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with requisitions and inventory control.
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients and products.
- Process orders and guest bills accurately using the POS system.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and hotel procedures at all times.
- Assist with opening and closing duties and other operational requirements as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista, preferably within a hotel, café, or restaurant environment.
- Good knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso-based beverages, and coffee equipment.
- Basic latte art skills are an advantage.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering excellent guest service.
- Friendly and positive personality with good communication skills.
- Good command of spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
