About Wynn Al Marjan Island:

The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

About the Position:

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Bell Attendant – Front Services to join the resort’s Front Services (Bell & Door) team.

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Create a polished first impression by greeting guests warmly upon arrival, using names when known, acknowledging special preferences, and offering calm, confident assistance from the first point of contact.
  • Demonstrate luxury-level anticipation by observing guest cues, offering assistance before being asked, adapting the pace of service to the guest, and recognizing opportunities to personalize the experience.
  • Handle, tag, load, unload, transport, store, and retrieve guest luggage safely, accurately, and efficiently during arrivals, departures, room moves, group movements, and VIP handling.
  • Maintain full luggage accountability by confirming room numbers, ownership details, tag accuracy, storage location, delivery status, and handover communication.
  • Escort guests with warmth and confidence, maintaining professional posture, engaging conversation, and appropriate pace while guiding them through the resort or to their guestroom.
  • Introduce key room features, resort amenities, service highlights, and practical details in a natural and informative manner without overwhelming the guest.
  • Deliver luggage to guestrooms promptly while protecting guest privacy, observing security protocols, placing items neatly, and confirming if any further assistance is required before departing.
  • Support departures by collecting luggage on time, verifying guest instructions, coordinating transportation timing, offering a gracious farewell, and ensuring a smooth final impression.
  • Assist with guest requests, deliveries, errands, lost-and-found handovers, amenity support, and service recovery needs with ownership, urgency, and follow-through.
  • Recognize service recovery moments, respond with empathy and professionalism, escalate concerns appropriately, and help restore guest confidence through timely action.
  • Coordinate continuously with Front Desk, Door, Valet, Concierge, Housekeeping, and Security to ensure accurate timing, guest movement, luggage delivery, and operational flow.
  • Maintain the bell desk, luggage room, lobby, arrival areas, and equipment in an organized, clean, safe, and guest-ready condition at all times.
  • Support VIP, group, high-volume, and special-event movements with discretion, urgency, composure, and attention to individual guest preferences.
  • Use luggage carts, trolleys, radios, luggage tags, storage areas, and any assigned tracking tools correctly and responsibly.
  • Uphold safety protocols, protect guest belongings from damage or loss, and immediately report irregularities, hazards, unattended items, or guest concerns.
  • Consistently deliver Forbes Five-Star qualitative standards through warm eye contact, polished language, anticipation, personalization, discretion, emotional intelligence, and graceful service recovery.

Forbes Five-Star Service Standards:

  • Acknowledge guests promptly with warm eye contact, a confident smile, and polished language that feels natural, respectful, and sincere.
  • Use the guest’s name whenever known and personalize the interaction by recognizing preferences, occasions, luggage needs, mobility requirements, or travel context.
  • Anticipate needs before they are requested, including offering luggage assistance, directions, seating, transportation coordination, umbrellas, water, or additional support during wait times.
  • Escort guests with presence and professionalism by matching their pace, maintaining appropriate conversation, introducing relevant resort highlights, and avoiding rushed or scripted delivery.
  • Deliver room orientation with clarity and restraint, highlighting key features, safety details, luggage placement, and service access without overwhelming the guest.
  • Protect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times by handling names, room numbers, personal belongings, conversations, and luggage information with discretion.
  • Close each interaction gracefully by confirming completion, asking if further assistance is needed, offering a warm farewell, and creating confidence that the guest has been fully cared for.
  • Own service recovery moments by listening carefully, responding with empathy, taking immediate action where possible, and escalating concerns without transferring responsibility to the guest.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in bell services, baggage handling, guest services, luxury hospitality, or a high-volume arrival/departure environment preferred.
  • Strong guest-facing presence with excellent communication skills, polished language, professional grooming, and a genuinely warm service approach.
  • Ability to anticipate guest needs, personalize interactions, read guest cues, and adjust service style to match the guest’s pace, preference, and occasion.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, load, unload, and maneuver luggage, trolleys, and guest belongings safely for extended periods.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to tag, track, store, retrieve, and deliver luggage accurately without compromising guest belongings or privacy.
  • Ability to remain calm, organized, and courteous during peak arrival and departure periods, group movements, VIP activity, and urgent guest requests.
  • Confidence in delivering room orientation, resort information, farewell moments, and service recovery assistance with warmth, clarity, and discretion.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages and cultural awareness are an advantage in a luxury resort environment.
  • Knowledge of resort facilities, local attractions, transportation options, and guest service recovery standards is preferred.
  • Flexible schedule required, including weekends, holidays, evenings, overnight support, and business-demand changes.
  • Physical role involving continuous standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Must demonstrate discretion, integrity, and accountability when handling guest belongings, personal items, luggage storage areas, and sensitive guest information.
  • Prior knowledge or training in Forbes Travel Guide standards, luxury arrival rituals, baggage-control procedures, and hotel safety practices is an advantage.
