About the Role
The Client Solutions Intern supports the Client Solutions team in delivering full-funnel advertising solutions for TikTok's key clients across service industries. Working alongside experienced Client Solutions Managers and Business Partnership Managers, the intern will gain hands-on experience in both pre-sales research and post-sales campaign execution, helping to drive advertiser success across TikTok's performance and branding advertising products. This role offers exposure to real client work, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to learn how TikTok for Business solutions are built, sold, and optimized.
Responsibilities
- Support the team post-sale client relationships with advertisers, assisting with day-to-day campaign management and communication
- Collaborate with Business Partnership Managers on pre-sale research and pitch preparation, with a focus on relevant product solutions and advertising strategy
- Help create and optimize client ad strategies using TikTok for Business product solutions, including organic solutions, branding, brandformance, and performance products
- Support the adoption and engagement of TikTok's auction platform and auction-based tools, assisting with technical support and real-time analysis under team guidance
- Analyze campaign performance data to help deliver data-driven business insights to clients, and contribute insights that improve our advertising offerings
- Assist in preparing business review materials and help build productive long-term client relationships in collaboration with internal teams
- Maintain accurate records of pending and campaign plans, campaign schedules, and ad inventory availability
- Contribute to building team knowledge and documentation across key product and business growth areas
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to help surface and document client issues during campaigns, gather market feedback, and support TikTok for Business product development
- Collaborate with creative teams to help develop creative insights and strategies for clients
- Support efforts with measurement partners and advertisers to understand how advertisers measure success and communicate the value of TikTok
- Stay current on ad policy updates and help ensure the team and clients are informed of relevant changes
- Assist the Ad Operations team to ensure smooth and successful campaign execution, including verifying ad specifications and rates
- Support the Organic team in helping clients strengthen their organic presence to complement paid activities
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a undergraduate in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Data Analytics, or a related discipline
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Basic SQL and proficiency in Excel
- English must be used as a working language
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong interest in digital advertising, social media, and the tech industry
- Familiarity with TikTok as a platform is a plus
- Advanced SQL and advanced ExcelFamiliarity with digital advertising platforms or relevant coursework in marketing, business, or data analytics
- Basic understanding of digital media KPIs such as CPM, CPA, CTR, ROAS, and conversion metrics
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization
