The Opportunity
This role will bring the end to end processes of demand generation and lead management through to commercial opportunity and conversion together, working hand in hand with commercial teams to positively impact revenue growth. Acting as a strategic partner to senior leadership, this role will actively assess the go to market strategy, coverage model, and sales excellence best practices and performance measures to ensure that commercial teams and supporting functions maximise growth, customer interactions, opportunity pipeline and ability to scale. The Strategy, Sales Enablement & Operations META Region is accountable for defining and accelerating the region’s commercial growth agenda across Middle East, Africa, and Turkiye. The role leads strategic growth initiatives, commercial transformation, demand generation, and go-to-market excellence to strengthen market position and drive sustainable profitable growth.
This executive leader owns the regional commercial growth framework, aligning sales excellence, channel marketing, field product marketing, panel builder programs, marketing communications, and strategic growth initiatives into one integrated commercial engine.
The role drives commercial effectiveness through strong market positioning, customer engagement strategies, channel acceleration, demand generation programs, and ecosystem partnerships while enabling scalable regional growth opportunities.
The leader also acts as a strategic advisor to regional leadership, identifying emerging market trends, commercial opportunities, and transformation priorities that position the region for long-term growth and competitive advantage.
What you’ll do:
- Define and execute the regional commercial strategy and growth roadmap across Middle East, Africa, and Turkiye.
- Lead strategic growth initiatives focused on market expansion, commercial transformation, customer engagement, and profitable growth acceleration.
- Own and drive regional sales excellence programs to improve commercial effectiveness, pipeline management, forecasting discipline, sales capabilities, and execution consistency.
- Lead deployment of channel marketing strategies to strengthen partner engagement, distribution effectiveness, ecosystem expansion, and indirect sales growth.
- Own the regional panel builder program strategy, driving partner development, ecosystem enablement, capability growth and market penetration.
- Lead field product marketing initiatives and influence central ones to strengthen market positioning, product adoption, portfolio awareness and customer value propositions.
- Propose & influence integrated demand generation strategies across key markets, segments, and strategic growth areas.
- Oversee regional marketing communications strategies to strengthen brand positioning, commercial visibility, customer engagement, and market awareness.
- Translate market insights, competitive intelligence, customer trends, and commercial analytics into actionable growth strategies and business opportunities.
- Partner with sales leaders and business units to align commercial priorities, customer targeting, and growth initiatives across the region.
- Identify and prioritize strategic growth opportunities including new market entry, ecosystem partnerships, strategic programs, and commercial acceleration initiatives.
- Drive commercial programs focused on expanding share of wallet, cross-selling opportunities, and portfolio penetration.
- Lead regional strategic initiatives supporting digital transformation, customer experience enhancement, and commercial capability building.
- Build strong relationships with key external stakeholders including distributors, consultants, contractors, panel builders, ecosystem partners, and strategic customers.
- Establish governance mechanisms and performance metrics to track commercial growth initiatives, demand generation effectiveness, and strategic program outcomes.
- Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders across sales, marketing, segments, operations, product management, and finance teams.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and growth-oriented execution across the organization.
- Lead organizational capability development across sales excellence, marketing effectiveness, channel development, and strategic growth competencies.
- Represent the regional commercial growth agenda in executive leadership discussions and strategic planning forums.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 15 years experience
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Good organization and time management skills
A willingness to take ownership of issues and to drive solutions into businesses
Commercial awareness
Strong focus on ecosystem development, customer engagement, and commercial transformation.
Matrix leadership across business units, segments, commercial organizations, and regional leadership teams.
