We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Anesthesiologist to join our clinical team at M42 in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in anesthesia practice, including long-term care and ICU settings, and demonstrate excellence in perioperative management, patient safety, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Responsibilities
Provide safe and effective anesthesia care across perioperative settings.
Manage anesthesia and pain control for elective and emergency procedures, including LTC patients.
Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups.
Provide clinical support and anesthesia-related care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), including airway management, sedation, and hemodynamic monitoring.
Collaborate closely with surgeons, ICU physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, hospital policies, and patient safety standards.
Qualifications
- Medical degree with specialization in Anesthesiology.
- Consultant-level certification (or equivalent) recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi.
- Valid DOH license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Proven experience in anesthesia practice, with experience in ICU and Long-Term Care (LTC) settings preferred.
