Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist in Pediatric Endocrinology to join our multidisciplinary care team. This role focuses on the diagnosis, management, and long-term care of pediatric endocrine and metabolic disorders. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, growth and puberty issues, and other hormone-related conditions, while also supporting general pediatric needs within a specialty-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of pediatric endocrine disorders.
- Lead the care of children with conditions such as Type 1 diabetes, growth disorders, thyroid dysfunction, metabolic disorders, and pubertal abnormalities.
- Deliver general pediatric care as needed within outpatient and specialized clinic settings.
- Collaborate closely with endocrinologists, diabetes educators, nutritionists, nurses, and allied health teams to deliver comprehensive, family-centered care.
- Participate in the hospital’s on-call rota to ensure safe and continuous medical coverage.
- Contribute to patient education, clinical quality initiatives, and evidence-based practice.
