Dr Joy Dental Clinic is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in dental laboratory procedures, with a strong focus on precision, quality, and timely delivery of dental restorations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform fitting, finishing, and quality checks of dental crowns, bridges, veneers, and other restorations.
Handle ceramic pressing procedures, including wax-up, spruing, investing, pressing, divesting, and finishing.
Prepare and process implant components, abutments, and verification jigs.
Carry out restoration fitting checks, including marginal fit, proximal contacts, occlusion, and seating accuracy.
Perform CAD/CAM laboratory tasks, including model scanning, 3D printing, and model preparation.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including furnaces, sandblasters, micromotors, scanners, and 3D printers.
Follow laboratory work orders, quality standards, material instructions, and safety procedures.
Coordinate with senior technicians and other laboratory departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely case completion.
Requirements
Relevant experience as a Dental Technician in a dental laboratory.
Hands-on experience in fitting and finishing dental restorations.
Knowledge of ceramic pressing and dental materials.
Experience with implant components and CAD/CAM workflows will be an advantage.
Ability to assess restoration fit and identify technical discrepancies.
Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to quality.
Good teamwork, time management, and organizational skills.
