We are looking for a seasoned Digital & platform Monitoring Lead/Specialist to ensure the availability, reliability, performance, stability, and overall technical health of digital products by proactively monitoring systems, identifying issues, coordinating incident resolution, managing technical debt, and driving continuous product improvement. Key responsibilities: Monitor critical business journeys such as search, availability, fare selection, booking, payment, login, check-in, and refunds. Identify monitoring gaps and improve alert accuracy, coverage, and actionable insights. Implement end-to-end observability using application logs, metrics, traces, and business transaction monitoring. Configure and maintain dashboards, alerts, thresholds, synthetic monitoring, and real-user monitoring. Monitor application availability, response times, error rates, throughput, infrastructure health, and service dependencies. Establish and maintain monitoring across website, mobile app, booking engine, check-in, and post-booking journeys. Identify performance bottlenecks across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and third-party integrations. Monitor application response times, API latency, throughput, resource utilization, and transaction failures. Maintain a prioritized backlog of product health improvements and track actions through closure. Conduct periodic product health reviews and publish dashboards and management reports. Identify deteriorating trends and proactively address issues before they impact customers. Requirements Airline or travel technology experience is MUST with digital channel expertise such as booking, payment, check-in, loyalty, and post-booking journeys. Experience with cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices, and containerized environments is desirable. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, incident coordination, and stakeholder management skills. Experience supporting customer-facing, high-availability digital platforms. Typically 5–8+ years of experience in application support, digital technology operations, monitoring, performance engineering, or production reliability; adjust according to the seniority of the position. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
