Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fitness assessments and provide appropriate exercise guidance based on individual fitness levels and goals.
- Deliver engaging group fitness classes, including Zumba, Pilates, aerobics, stretching, circuit training, functional training, and other programs.
- Develop and regularly refresh group class schedules and fitness activities to encourage member participation.
- Provide personal training sessions and demonstrate correct exercise techniques, posture, and safe use of equipment.
- Motivate guests and members and create a welcoming, energetic, and inclusive fitness environment.
- Monitor participants during individual and group sessions and adjust exercises according to fitness levels and abilities.
- Ensure all gym equipment is used safely and correctly.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout the fitness and gym areas.
- Conduct regular checks of fitness equipment and immediately report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Promote available fitness programs, personal training sessions, memberships, and Health Club activities.
- Build positive relationships with members and guests and respond professionally to their questions and fitness needs.
- Maintain attendance records for group classes and other fitness activities as required.
- Follow all hotel health, safety, emergency, and hygiene procedures.
- Maintain appropriate professional certifications and remain updated on current fitness trends and training techniques.
- Support Health Club events, wellness initiatives, colleague activities, and hotel programs when required.
- Perform other reasonable duties based on operational requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Recognized Fitness Trainer/Personal Trainer certification.
- Certification or demonstrated experience in conducting Zumba and/or Pilates classes is highly preferred.
- First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Fitness Trainer, preferably within a hotel, health club, gym, or wellness facility.
- Good knowledge of exercise techniques, fitness programming, and safe equipment usage.
- Confident in leading group classes with different fitness levels.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, professional, approachable, and guest-focused.
