We’re opening new NALA stores in Dubai, and we’re looking for warm, switched-on and genuinely passionate people to join our Front of House team.
At NALA, hospitality starts the moment a guest walks through the door. You are the welcome, the energy, the coffee champion, the queue guardian and the person who makes sure every interaction feels effortless.
You’ll be one of the first faces our guests see and one of the last impressions they take with them — so how you make people feel matters just as much as what you do.
Your Mission
Put the guest first. Always.
Every decision, every interaction and every shift starts with the guest experience. We’re looking for people who notice the details, take pride in doing things properly and understand that great hospitality is often found in the smallest moments.
You’ll be fully cross-trained across the store, with the expectation that every team member is confident and signed off across both Front and Back of House. At NALA, we work as one team — no single lanes, no single points of failure.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Guest Experience
Welcome every guest within five seconds with genuine eye contact and a warm, human greeting.
Get to know our regulars and remember their names and preferences.
Stay present and attentive — never looking down at a screen when a guest is approaching.
Make every interaction feel personal, generous and considered.
Orders & Service
Take orders accurately and clearly, repeating every order before payment.
Offer one natural and relevant add-on with each order.
Explain clearly where guests should wait and collect their orders.
Write down complex orders rather than relying on memory.
Know the menu, products, pricing and allergens well enough to answer guests confidently.
Till & Payments
Take ownership of your till and payment process.
Obtain Supervisor approval for every no-sale.
Reconcile the cash drawer before the end of your shift.
Offer receipts automatically and record tender types correctly.
Flag any payment discrepancies or anomalies immediately.
Coffee & Drinks
Prepare every drink exactly to NALA specification.
Aim to hand off drinks within 90 seconds.
Check presentation, foam, temperature, lid and sleeve before every handoff.
Keep the coffee station clean and organised throughout the shift.
Clean the coffee station every 10 minutes.
If something doesn’t look right, remake it before the guest has to ask.
Floor & Store Standards
Reset tables within two minutes of a guest leaving.
Walk the dining areas every 30 minutes to check cleanliness and presentation.
Keep floors dry, clear and safe.
Keep counters clear and presentable.
Ensure retail shelves and grab-and-go displays are stocked, faced and beautifully presented.
Use quieter moments to reface displays and keep the store looking its best.
Dubai Standards & Compliance
Food safety and compliance are non-negotiable.
You will be required to:
Hold a valid Occupational Health Card and recognised food hygiene certification.
Follow the Dubai Municipality Food Code and all applicable food safety regulations.
Maintain all required in-house and food certifications.
Provide accurate allergen information to guests.
Apply VAT-inclusive pricing correctly on every order.
Understand and respect the cultural nuances of serving guests in the UAE.
Maintain high standards of uniform and personal presentation at all times.
