Al Tamimi & Company is seeking future Emirati leaders to join our Compliance team as a Graduate Compliance Advisor.
This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate looking to build a long-term career in Compliance, Risk, and Regulatory Affairs within one of the Middle East's leading law firms.
Working closely with experienced compliance professionals, the successful candidate will gain hands-on exposure to AML, KYC, risk management, financial crime compliance, and regulatory matters. This role offers an excellent foundation for individuals looking to develop their expertise within a dynamic and highly regulated professional services environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, Risk Management, Finance or related fields
- Recent graduate or up to 1 year of professional experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and research capabilities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and build effective working relationships
- High levels of professionalism, integrity, and discretion

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support client onboarding activities, including KYC, due diligence, and risk assessment processes
- Assist with AML, sanctions, and financial crime compliance reviews
- Conduct research on regulatory developments, legislation, and emerging compliance risks
- Assist with the maintenance and enhancement of compliance policies and procedures
- Support ongoing monitoring activities and regulatory reporting requirements
- Assist in responding to client due diligence and compliance information requests
- Support internal and external compliance audits
- Prepare compliance reports, presentations, and regulatory updates
- Assist in delivering compliance awareness initiatives and training programmes
- Work closely with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Business Services teams on key projects
- Respond to compliance-related queries from stakeholders across the firm
- Develop knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to professional services environments
