Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize restrooms, classrooms, laboratories, faculty offices, hallways, and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in clinical training areas, simulation labs, and other healthcare-related zones
according to infection control protocols.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and surfaces.
• Empty trash and medical/non-medical waste bins; ensure proper disposal procedures are followed.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and sanitizers.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly (e.g., doorknobs, handrails, elevator buttons).
• Report maintenance issues (e.g., plumbing, electrical, or HVAC problems) to the Facilities Department.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and cleaning agents as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and hygiene regulations specific to healthcare and academic
environments.
• Assist in setting up rooms for events, seminars, or practical training sessions as needed.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Follow all institutional policies and procedures related to infection prevention and safety.
