We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of expertise in managing HSE processes within the context of building construction projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment, compliance with HSE regulations, and the implementation of effective safety programs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and update project-specific HSE plans for building construction projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate HSE considerations into project schedules and workflows.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments for construction activities and identify potential hazards.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risks to personnel and property.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and project-specific safety requirements.
- Implement corrective actions for identified hazards and unsafe practices.
- Conduct HSE training sessions for project personnel, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of safety awareness and responsibility on the construction site.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and first aid protocols.
- Conduct drills and exercises to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
- Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, and analyze root causes.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of HSE activities, including incident reports, inspection findings, and training records.
- Ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
- Stay informed about local and international HSE regulations applicable to building.

Minimum Requirements:
