Responsibilities

  • Serve as Binance's global product legal lead, providing regulatory and legal guidance across the full product lifecycle — from ideation through launch to ongoing operations
  • Advise product teams on regulatory implications of new features, product enhancements, and market expansions across jurisdictions
  • Lead the assessment and mitigation of regulatory risks across Binance's product suite, including spot and derivatives trading, payments, digital assets, and emerging verticals
  • Partner directly with product managers, engineers, compliance, risk, and BD to embed legal and regulatory considerations into product development processes
  • Build and maintain scalable product compliance frameworks and controls that support growth across diverse regulatory environments
  • Act as a key decision-maker in product governance forums, balancing regulatory compliance with business objectives and user needs
  • Lead engagement with regulators and external counsel on product-related matters across multiple jurisdictions
  • Stay ahead of global regulatory developments and translate them into actionable guidance for product and business teams
  • Conduct cross-functional workshops and training to elevate regulatory awareness across the organization

Requirements:

  • Qualified to practice law in a leading jurisdiction with significant international regulatory legal experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in regulatory legal roles, preferably in-house at a technology, financial services, or cryptocurrency company
  • Deep knowledge of global financial product regulation, including spot and derivatives trading, payment systems, and digital assets
  • Proven track record of working embedded with product and engineering teams to shape product decisions
  • Experience managing complex regulatory compliance matters and engaging with regulators across multiple jurisdictions
  • Experience leading and scaling legal teams across regions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills — ability to build trusted relationships with regulators, business leaders, product teams, and external counsel
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong business acumen with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach
  • Deep understanding of the cryptocurrency industry and its evolving global regulatory landscape
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment managing multiple priorities

  • Tackle challenging projects in a fast-paced and innovative enviornment with autonomy
  • Thrive in a results-driven workplace with opportunities for career growth and continuous learning
  • Competitive salary and company benefits
  • Remote-first, work-from-home arrangement (may vary depending on the nature of the role and team)
