About the Role
We are seeking a commercially driven and strategic Manager Specialty Segments to lead the development and growth of Qatar Airways' specialty travel portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Global Leisure Sales, you will be responsible for driving revenue, profitability, market share growth, and portfolio diversification through strategic partnerships, commercial programmes, and targeted B2B sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, market share, and portfolio diversification across Cruise, Tour Operators, Sports, VFR, Tourism Boards, Wellness and Religious Travel segments.
- Develop and execute commercial strategies and initiatives aligned with Qatar Airways' business objectives.
- Identify market opportunities and establish strategic partnerships to generate sustainable revenue streams.
- Build and manage relationships with specialty segment partners through business reviews, negotiations, and joint business planning.
- Deliver demand generation activities and commercial programmes that increase market presence and revenue performance.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and align commercial priorities.
- Monitor portfolio performance through commercial reporting, market intelligence, and data-driven analysis to optimise business results.
- Provide commercial recommendations to support revenue growth, profitability, and business performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Specialty Segments team to support sustainable business growth.
- Ensure delivery of business objectives while maintaining compliance with company policies, safety, security, and operational standards.
