Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Operations – MEP / Operations Manager – MEP to lead and oversee our MEP operations across large-scale villa and high-rise building projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate must possess extensive UAE market experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in managing multi-project operations at a senior management level.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall MEP operations, ensuring successful delivery of villa and high-rise projects across the UAE.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and control to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications.
- Manage and mentor senior project managers, engineers, and site teams.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure smooth project execution and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, local authority approvals, HSE standards, and quality management systems.
- Monitor financial performance, cost control, risk management, and resource allocation across projects.
- Provide regular operational and performance reports to top management and stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred).
- Minimum 30 years of total professional experience in MEP contracting.
- At least 25 years in senior managerial roles within the MEP industry.
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in a similar position (Head of Operations / Operations Manager – MEP).
- Strong hands-on experience in villa and high-rise building projects in the UAE.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE construction practices, authorities, and MEP standards.
- Proven leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational abilities.
