Bureau Veritas is seeking a Multi NDT Technician in Muscat, Oman. Fresh diploma holders in a relevant technical discipline may apply, and prior industrial, workshop, fabrication, welding, inspection or maintenance exposure is an advantage but not required. Posisition: Multi NDT Technician
Education:
- Basic computer knowledge for report preparation and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Welding, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or another relevant technical discipline from a recognized institution.
Experience:
- Fresh diploma holders may apply. Previous industrial, workshop, fabrication, welding, inspection or maintenance exposure is an advantage but is not mandatory.
Technical knowledge:
- Basic understanding of engineering materials, welding, fabrication and measurement.
- Ability to read simple engineering drawings and follow written work instructions.
- Willingness and ability to learn RT, UT, MT, PT, VT and thickness measurement techniques.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, email and electronic reporting.
