Employment type: Full-time
About Unipal
Unipal is a youth discounts and experiences platform. We connect the youth with the brands and universities that matter to them. We are based in Bahrain, operate in Saudi Arabia and Oman, and are growing across the region.
About the role
We are launching in Qatar, and you will lead it. We build meaningful partnerships, not one-off deals: brands that stay with us because students keep coming back. As Partnerships Head for Qatar, you will own the launch partner line-up, the market's targets, and the team. You will sign the first anchor partners yourself, then grow and coach a team as the market scales. You will work closely with leadership, Marketing, Accounts Management, and Product.
What you will do
Build and own the Qatar partnerships plan, from launch line-up to monthly and quarterly targets
Personally sign the anchor brands that make Unipal credible to students at launch
Build relationships with Qatar's universities, including Education City
Hire, coach, and lead the Qatar partnerships team
Set the standard for deal quality: commercial terms, contracts, and handover to Accounts Management
Run a weekly pipeline review and keep forecasts accurate
Represent Unipal with senior brand decision makers, mall operators, franchise holders, and at industry events
Feed market insight into Marketing, Product, and leadership
What you bring
6+ years in partnerships, business development, or sales in Qatar, including experience leading a team or owning a market
A senior network across Qatar's F&B groups, franchise holders, retail, and lifestyle brands
Experience launching a product, brand, or market in Qatar
Strong negotiation skills with large, multi-branch partners
Comfortable building plans, forecasts, and reports from CRM data
Self-driven and comfortable building with little structure around you
A good understanding of what students want from brands
Nice to have
Experience in a startup or a regional expansion
Experience with youth, student, or loyalty and rewards products
Fluent Arabic and English
