About the location:
Soon to be one of the region’s foremost luxury beachside destinations, The Red Sea will comprise of the idyllic natural islands and lagoons across 200 kms of coastline along the western coast of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, between the cities of Umluj and Al Wajh. The new Four Seasons Resort will be located on Shura Island, the hub of the development and home to a yacht marina, leisure and lifestyle facilities, retail offerings, 18-hole golf course and more. The Red Sea destination is being built with sustainable practices and tourism at its core, with the masterplan being informed by an impressive marine spatial planning simulation to model the environmental impact of development and operations to minimize over-tourism while providing guests with an exceptional travel and lifestyle experience. The destination will also rely on renewable energy and will only develop a small portion of the islands with expansive dedicated conservation zones. The new Four Seasons Resort will offer approximately 149 rooms and suites, all with uninterrupted views over white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters. The property will also feature six restaurant and lounge outlets, meeting and events spaces, a marine discovery centre, Kids for All Seasons space and much more. About the Role:
The People & Culture Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture department, employee records management, and compliance with Saudi labor laws. The role involves supporting the People & Culture team, ensuring a professional working environment and exceptional service for all internal and external stakeholders.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate and assist with aspects of Employee Relations.
- Gain an understanding of employee benefits and payroll
- Work closely with the other department on projects, and maintaining policies and procedures.
- Assist with People & Culture procedures, meetings and events.
- Assist with the administration in the People & Culture Office; Filing, answering phones, greeting employees, etc.
What You Bring
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in human resources, with experience in a hospitality or service-oriented industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Saudi Labor Law, employee rights, and regulations.
- Familiarity with P&C software and employee record management systems.
- Understanding of recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff and management.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and P&C management software.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and handle sensitive employee issues with professionalism and discretion.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lead by example, guiding team members while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Strong ability to handle challenges and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
- Friendly, approachable, and able to build strong relationships with both staff and management.
- Open to change and able to adjust responsibilities as needed to meet evolving business demands.
- Demonstrates a high standard of professionalism in both appearance and conduct, in line with cultural and organizational expectations.
