Job Description
JOB PURPOSE: Supervise day-to-day site installation, testing, and pre-commissioning of domestic water piping, drainage networks, storm water lines, and fire fighting systems.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Plumbing & Fire Piping Supervision: Supervise daily installation of water supply lines (PPR, copper, PEX), drainage pipes (PVC, HDPE), and fire sprinkler piping.
• Testing Execution: Execute hydrostatic pressure tests on water supply and fire lines; perform gravity flow tests on drainage stacks.
• Sleeve & Core Coordination: Verify placement of pipe sleeves, puddle flanges, and penetrations prior to civil concrete pouring.
• Consultant Walks: Pre-inspect installations and accompany consultant inspectors during formal WIR walkthroughs.
