Integrated Plastics Packaging is seeking a Printing Machine Helper in Dubai. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the machine operator during job setup, cylinder loading, material loading, and changeover.
- Handle and load PET, BOPP, PE, foil, paper, nylon, and other flexible packaging materials as required.
- Assist in ink preparation, ink circulation, viscosity checking, and ink changeover as instructed.
- Support the operator in maintaining correct web tension, alignment, and smooth material movement.
- Assist during roll changes, splicing, reel handling, and finished roll removal.
- Monitor the printing process and immediately inform the operator about web breaks, shade variation, wrinkles, defects, or other abnormalities.
- Assist with machine cleaning, ink tray cleaning, doctor blade cleaning/changeover, and general housekeeping.
- Support cylinder changeover and cylinder handling safely.
- Assist in identifying and segregating printing waste such as setup waste, shade matching waste, web break waste, and material-related waste.
- Follow BRC, GMP, safety, quality, and company procedures at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness around the machine and ensure 5S/housekeeping standards are followed.
- Assist with production recording, job identification, labels, and traceability requirements.
- Handle tools, equipment, inks, solvents, and materials safely as per company procedures.
- Perform any other printing-related duties assigned by the Operator or Shift In-charge.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in flexible packaging / rotogravure printing preferred.
- Basic knowledge of printing materials, inks, cylinders, solvents, and printing defects.
- Ability to handle reels and materials safely.
- Good understanding of machine safety and housekeeping.
- Physically fit and able to work in shifts.
- Willingness to learn and develop into a Rotogravure Machine Operator.
