Key Responsibilities:
- Manage trenching, duct installation, cable pulling, jointing, testing, and commissioning activities
- Lead end-to-end execution of 132kV underground cable laying projects from initiation to commissioning
- Develop detailed project execution plans, work breakdown structures, and resource mobilization strategies
- Coordinate with utility authorities like (DEWA / TRANSCO / ADDC) for approvals, inspections, and shutdown planning
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements
- Monitor project schedule, cost, progress, and implement corrective actions for delays
- Manage subcontractors, site teams, and construction productivity
- Oversee material planning, procurement coordination, and logistics management
- Handle project risks, claims, variations, and contractual correspondence
- Conduct regular site meetings and report progress to management and clients
- Ensure adherence to HSE and quality standards across all project activities
- Coordinate interface between civil, electrical, and commissioning teams
- Ensure successful project handover, documentation, and final approvals
Basic Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 12-15 years’ experience in construction projects
- Minimum 5-7+ years’ experience in 132kV cable laying projects mandatory
- UAE experience is preferred
