Jazeera Paints is seeking a Quality Control Officer in Sudair, Saudi Arabia. The role covers laboratory testing and approval of finished goods, raw materials, packaging materials and samples, as well as monitoring product stability and preparing SASO samples. Duties also include maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, documenting results, supporting production troubleshooting, handling complaint investigations and coordinating audits. Preform and monitor all QC activities with support of QC Technician. Also support in testing & approval of FGs’, RMs’, & PMs’.
Develop, modify, and submit of SOPs for approval when required.
Test, supervise (where required) and arrange SASO samples according to the specified monthly reports.
Test and follow of Stability, returned finish goods, Colours, Catalogues, Colorants, Finish goods, RMs, Packing and Samples analysis for all company departments.
Calibration, Maintenance and Follow-up of equipment, instruments in the laboratory and always keep them in good conditions.
Close the daily tests reports of final products and authorize to accept the batch tickets and report the result immediately to the production and support in the troubleshooting in the quality related issues.
Follow-up customer / supplier complaints by verification, testing and reporting.
Prioritize the testing of product within the quality control laboratory based on the priority.
Select the STD samples based on batch number so that it is without change or modification, as well as matching the results of tests product for the specification required.
Continuous supporting and participating in cost reduction activities (electricity - water - use of improvised - leftover samples - leftover packing).
Coordinate and support of audits conducted at the site, whether from internal or external parties.
Comply with the rules and safety instructions for working within laboratories.
Commitment to general cleanliness of workplace and the cleanliness of devices and equipment used in laboratories and maintained it.
Documenting of all lab activities and submitting regular reports.
Executes activities related to his/her function in safe and environmental methods.
To perform any other duties assigned by his direct supervisor / manager.
