Creating and developing a strategic long-term plan for the development of the category.
Developing an exit strategy for unsuccessful products.
Placing appropriate orders to ensure product availability meets demand.
Leading category management projects to optimise ranges and related merchandising.
Managing budget development and revenue for the category.
Manage in full autonomy a complex portfolio of R&D projects in all its phases from initial prototyping through to execution to the market.
Translate insights into actionable technical briefs in partnership with marketing and sales teams, based on solid consumer foundation and customer needs .
Collaborate with R&D Team members and partner functions to design, develop and execute new winning products, processes, and packages.
Represent, advocate and influence on behalf of R&D in cross-functional Project meetings internally and externally and ensure alignment on project deliverables, actions standards and timing.
Complete proper Knowledge Management throughout the project lifecycle at the appropriate stages and maintain all product development records for intellectual property protection Leverage internal and external networks to progress projects.
Key partner with cross functions to drive pipeline development and execution Provide insight into the pipeline development via a thorough understanding of the consumer, ingredients, and process functionality.
Ensure that all project work is within the governance of our Internal Change Management System.
Execute activities related to his/her function in safe and environmentally friendly methods.
