Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set up cranes, pulleys, winches, and hoists.
- Assemble and install rigging gear such as cables, ropes, and clamps.
- Inspect and prepare loads for lifting.
- Secure loads using slings, chains, or ropes to prevent shifting or imbalance.
- Attach loads to rigging equipment and align, level, and anchor machinery after placement.
- Conduct risk assessments and follow strict safety protocols.
- Inspect rigging equipment before and after use.
- Ensure safety of team members and bystanders during operations
- Dismantle and store equipment properly after use.
- You always collaborate and maintain constant communication with the site manager, foreman, rigger, and other involved parties.
Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma
- You are proficient in the English language, with solid skills in writing and reading.
- Age at least 25 years old
- You have broad expertise in the operation and application of equipment and lifting gear.
- You have a minimum of 5-10 years of work experience in Oil and Gas within GCC countries (with experience certificates)
