QatarEnergy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical design and engineering services for assigned projects. The role is responsible for delivering work in line with QatarEnergy procedures while considering quality, schedule, cost and HSE. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 10 years of relevant postgraduate experience, including six years in the Oil & Gas industry. Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer status, or equivalent, is preferred; fluency in English is required.

Primary Purpose of the Job
Provide technical design and engineering services in Electrical Engineering for all
assigned engineering projects. Achieving the technical quality of work in accordance
with QatarEnergy procedures, whilst considering quality, schedule, cost and HSE.
Required Experience and Skills
- 10 years relevant post graduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to the Oil & Gas industry.
- Ability to identify and utilize relevant engineering standards and codes related to Electrical Engineering.
- Proven ability to manage time, cost, and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environment.
- Good communications and presentation skills with fluency in English.
