Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all site-based electrical installation, inspection, testing and pre-commissioning activities.
- Verify that electrical works are executed in accordance with approved shop drawings, coordinated drawings, technical specifications and method statements.
- Inspect the installation of package substations, transformers, ring-main units, medium-voltage switchgear and associated equipment.
- Supervise the installation of low-voltage switchgear, main distribution boards, sub-main distribution boards and final distribution boards.
- Monitor the installation of standby generators, automatic transfer switches, synchronization panels and emergency-power systems.
- Supervise underground medium- and low-voltage cable networks, including trenching, duct banks, concrete encasement, marker tapes and route markers.
- Verify cable-pulling arrangements, bending radii, pulling tension, separation distances, jointing and termination quality.
- Inspect cable identification, phase marking, tagging, glanding and termination.
- Confirm that underground cable routes are coordinated with irrigation, drainage, water, sewerage, telecommunications and landscape systems.
- Supervise the installation of driving-range floodlighting, practice-green lighting, pathway lighting, road lighting and landscape illumination.
- Support the review of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, test certificates and electrical closeout records.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, test results, observations, nonconformance reports and photographic documentation.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on electrical progress, quality, testing, risks and outstanding matters.
- Advise the Project Manager of critical technical, safety, quality or schedule issues affecting the electrical works.
- Comply with project HSE procedures and enforce safe working practices during installation, testing and energization.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited and recognized university.
- Minimum 10 years of site-based electrical engineering and construction-supervision experience.
- Demonstrated experience working for an engineering supervision consultancy or project-management consultancy.
- Proven experience supervising underground medium- and low-voltage power-distribution networks.
- Experience supervising substations, transformers, switchgear, generators and electrical distribution panels.
- Strong experience with outdoor, sports, roadway, pathway and landscape-lighting installations.
- Experience supervising building electrical and extra-low-voltage packages.
- Practical knowledge of Saudi Electricity Company regulations and technical requirements.
- Sound understanding of Saudi Building Code electrical provisions and applicable fire and life-safety requirements.
- Experience processing site inspections, witnessing electrical tests and managing nonconforming work.
- Ability to interpret drawings, calculations, schematics, technical specifications and approved material submittals.
- Strong reporting, coordination, problem-solving and site-enforcement skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
