Engineering Consultants Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a role located in Qatar. The engineer will design plumbing, firefighting and other mechanical systems. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably in the power sector, and at least 4 years of relevant design experience. Education & Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Power sector is preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in designing plumbing, firefighting systems and other mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in digital software such as AutoCAD, Revit tool is a must.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power point… etc).
- Programming tools knowledge shall be a bonus point.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiar with relevant local and international codes, standards and regulations.
- Accreditation from different engineering bodies shall be a bonus point.
- V. Good in written and spoken English.
