The role prepares fabrication, general arrangement, connection, shop and detail drawings, and supports RFIs, bill of quantities input and coordination across disciplines, including MEP. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, at least seven years of construction experience, and experience with AutoCAD; five years of Revit or STAAD experience is also required. GCC experience is an advantage.

Job Description:
- The candidate must have experience in Structural Steel Projects
- Prepares structural steel drawings, RFI, input evaluation bill of quantities. Should have experience in preparing Fabrication Drawings, General Arrangement Drawings, Connection Drawings in the field
- Analyses engineering and Structural work with complete drawing, including shop drawing, and specification of plan layout and BBS.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Highly skilled in developing shop drawings and detail drawings based on a given design, IFC’s
- Proficient in English language, both in oral and in written form
- Well-experienced in project drawing coordination related to all discipline
- Highly skilled in MEP coordination
- Minimum 5-year experience of using the REVIT / STAAD
- Minimum of 7-year experience of using AutoCAD or Architectural CAD software
- Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledgeable in documenting drawings
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 7-year experience in construction with educational background in architecture or related technical course
- GCC experience is a plus
- Experience in preparing infrastructure and structural shop drawings
