Role Purpose:
JD oversees the non-technical, human-centric facilities management operations that ensure a clean, secure, comfortable, and compliant environment for building occupants and visitors. Unlike Hard FM (MEP, HVAC, structural maintenance), Soft FM focuses on variable service delivery, vendor governance, and workplace experience
Key Task and Responsibilities:
- Housekeeping & Hygiene Management: Establish daily, weekly, and periodic deep-cleaning schedules for general areas, washrooms, office spaces, and façades. Ensure adequate stock of consumables and eco-friendly chemicals.
- Security Operations & Safety: Manage contracted security personnel, monitor physical access control and CCTV systems, oversee visitor management systems (VMS), and assist in organizing emergency evacuation drills.
- Waste & Pest Management: Implement sustainable waste-segregation policies (recycling, hazardous, organic), coordinate municipal waste disposal, and manage routine pest control treatments.
- Front-of-House & Hospitality: Oversee reception operations, mailroom/courier services, meeting room bookings, executive catering support, and occupant concierge services.
- Groundskeeping & Landscaping: Coordinate routine indoor plant care, external grounds maintenance, irrigation systems, and seasonal outdoor landscaping
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
5 to 8+ years in Facilities Management, Hospitality, or Commercial Property Management, with at least 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role
