Imperial College London Diabetes & Endocrine Centre (ICLDEC) is seeking an experienced Specialist Endocrinologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong clinical background in endocrinology and metabolic disorders, delivering high‑quality care in an ambulatory and outpatient-focused environment. The role includes patient consultations, diagnostic evaluation, chronic disease management, and participation in the center’s clinical rotations when required.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive endocrine consultations and follow-up care for adult patients.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of endocrine and metabolic conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal disease, pituitary conditions, and hormonal imbalances.
- Support chronic disease management through evidence-based, patient-centered care.
- Collaborate closely with diabetologists, educators, dietitians, and other specialists to ensure integrated care.
- Participate in on‑call duties or clinical rotations as required by the center.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
- Medical degree with recognized specialty qualification in Endocrinology.
- Minimum 3–5 years of post‑qualification experience in endocrinology or internal medicine with endocrine focus.
- Strong clinical expertise in managing chronic endocrine conditions in outpatient settings.
- Excellent communication, diagnostic, and teamwork skills.
