A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the stewarding team.
- Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards are maintained across all back-of-house areas.
- Monitor the cleaning and storage of kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, and glassware.
- Support banquet and restaurant operations by ensuring equipment availability and readiness.
- Train, coach, and motivate team members to deliver high performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with HACCP and safety standards.
- Manage stewarding supplies, chemicals, and equipment to support efficient operations.
- Work closely with Culinary and F&B teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
What we need from you
Minimum 3 years of stewarding experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role, preferably in a hotel environment.
Good knowledge of HACCP, hygiene, sanitation, and health & safety standards.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Good organizational and communication abilities.
Experience managing stewarding equipment, chemicals, and cleaning procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Positive attitude with a hands-on approach to leadership
