We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to handle daily cash transactions, payments, receipts, and related financial records while ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
Requirements
- Handle daily cash and card transactions accurately.
- Receive payments from customers and issue receipts.
- Maintain accurate records of all cash transactions.
- Prepare daily cash reports and reconcile cash balances.
- Handle petty cash and maintain supporting documents.
- Verify invoices, receipts, and payment documents.
- Ensure proper cash handling and security procedures are followed.
- Deposit cash and cheques into the company bank account as required.
- Assist the Finance/Accounts team with basic accounting and administrative tasks.
- Report any cash discrepancies or irregularities to the Finance Manager.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Finance team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Cashier or in a similar finance-related role.
- Experience with POS systems and accounting/ERP software is preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
