Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Commercial Manager – Post Contract with strong experience in managing commercial and contractual matters for large-scale building projects in the UAE.
Key Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
• Minimum 12–15 years of UAE/GCC experience in post-contract commercial management.
• Proven experience working on projects with Emaar Properties and Dubai Holding Real Estate.
• Strong track record in:
– Variation management and finalization.
– Preparation, negotiation, and close-out of variation claims.
– Commercial correspondence and contractual notices.
– Cost control, CVR, and project commercial reporting.
– Final account preparation and settlement.
– Subcontract administration and commercial management.
• Sound knowledge of FIDIC-based contracts and UAE construction practices.
• Ability to lead a team of Quantity Surveyors and coordinate with Project Managers, Consultants, and Clients.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• MRICS / MCIArb membership preferred.
• Experience with major villa, high-rise, and mixed-use developments.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel reporting.
Key Focus Area
The candidate must have demonstrated experience in closing high-value variations and final accounts with Emaar and DHRE projects, including successful negotiation and agreement of commercial settlements.
