This role provides strategic leadership, mentoring, and quality control across the entire
design team, ensuring that trend direction, range architecture, and product
execution are cohesive, customer centric, and aligned with Blooming’s brand

The Head of Design plays a critical role in aligning design with business objectives,
working cross-functionally with Buying, Fit Tech, Visual Merchandising, and
Marketing to ensure that product stories are compelling, technically sound, and
visually strong across all customer touchpoints both online and offline.
Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end design process across all categories, ensuring
- collections are trend-driven, customer-focused, and commercially balanced.

- support in trend forecasting, range building, and design execution.
- Conduct regular training and feedback sessions to upskill the team on

Tech Pack & Executional Excellence
- Ensure detailed and consistent execution of tech packs with clear BOMs,
- artwork, and construction notes. Maintain quality control standards from
- sketch to sample to final product.
Customer Understanding & Fit Feedback Loop
- Translate customer insights (fit, style preferences, purchase behavior)
- into design decisions. Work closely with the Fit Technology and Buying
- teams to ensure consistent silhouette evolution, size range inclusivity,
- and product performance. Use returns and reviews to improve future ranges.
Design–Buying–Visual Merch Alignment
- Align design strategies with buying budgets, pricing architecture, and
- store segmentation. Co-create floor set plans and VM briefs to ensure
- every product is intentionally placed and visually merchandised to enhance
- the customer journey.
Vendor Collaboration & Calendar Management
- Partner with key vendor design teams to co-develop exclusive ranges.
- Uphold seasonal calendars and sampling deadlines across departments,
