  • Conduct team briefings and communicate room priorities, VIP arrivals, special requests, guest preferences, and important operational updates.
  • Train, coach, and guide Room Attendants and Housekeeping colleagues in cleaning procedures, room presentation, chemical usage, and luxury service standards.
  • Monitor room-cleaning progress and update room status accurately to support timely room release and smooth coordination with Front Office.
  • Coordinate closely with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and other departments regarding room readiness, maintenance concerns, linen requirements, and guest requests.
  • Ensure VIP rooms, suites, amenities, special arrangements, and personalized preferences are prepared accurately before guest arrival.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, enquiries, and concerns, ensuring appropriate action, follow-up, and service recovery.
  • Report and follow up on maintenance defects, damaged items, missing equipment, and health or safety concerns identified during room inspections.
  • Monitor linen, guest supplies, cleaning materials, and operating equipment, ensuring correct usage, storage, replenishment, and inventory control.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, chemical-handling, safety, security, lost-and-found, key-control, and company procedures.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of housekeeping pantries, linen rooms, trolleys, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Monitor colleague productivity, attendance, grooming, and performance, providing feedback and escalating concerns to the Housekeeping management team when required.
  • Prepare daily reports, handover notes, inspection records, and operational updates while supporting the department during peak periods and special projects.
  • Diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management, Housekeeping Operations, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of housekeeping experience, including supervisory or team-leading exposure, preferably within a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of guest-room cleaning, room inspections, linen management, chemical handling, hygiene, sanitation, and housekeeping safety procedures.
  • Proven ability to supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping colleagues while maintaining productivity and consistent quality standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, communication, and guest-relations skills, with the ability to manage priorities during high-occupancy periods.
  • Basic proficiency in housekeeping or property-management systems, with the ability to update room status, maintain operational records, and coordinate effectively with other departments.
