Job Description
JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for laminating and finishing the produced items to ensure they meet quality standards, schedule and duration and update information in the tracking system
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
HSE
- Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions
- Use personal protective equipment and safety gear when performing assigned tasks
- Keep operational areas clean and well organized to prevent incidents and accidents
- Maintain assigned tools, equipment and machinery in good working order
- Report on unsafe acts, incidents or safety violations
Finishing produced items: Perform finishing to the produced items ensuring they meet the quality standards and procedures
- Check produced items for any defects and make necessary repairs accordingly
- Check the item labels and marking and ensure it is as per the specifications / client requirements
- Prepare the Inspection Report and approve it from the supervisor
- Submit the finished items to the Quality Control inspector to ensure that the items are completed as per the schedule and duration set by the scheduling department / foreman
- Lamination: Receive the required glass kit from the storekeeper / raw material and ensure the resins are correctly mixed
- Laminate the required item as per the production procedure to ensure uniformity of produced items
- Inform the assistant foreman of the daily out-put status
- Report any accidents, problems, mistakes or non–conformities faced during production to the superior

Required Qualifications:
- Technical / High School
Preferred Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar environment
Job-Specific Skills:
- Ability to read, write & speak English
- Detailed knowledge of the Pipe machine and Products.
- Knowledge of Raw Material and associated hazards, Material Safety Data, Resin mixing / dosage.
- Knowledge of required quality standards, visual defects
- Knowledge of milled glass preparation / usage
- Knowledge of lamination types
- Knowledge of lamination procedures
