Role Purpose
To promote and sell new vehicle models, provide customers with accurate information about vehicle features and performance, support sales-related services, and ensure a smooth purchasing and delivery experience while achieving assigned sales targets and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers to the showroom, understand their requirements, and recommend suitable vehicle models based on their needs and preferences.
- Present and explain vehicle features, specifications, performance, and benefits to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Provide information about Ali & Sons services available at the point of sale, including vehicle registration, insurance, and aftersales services.
- Recommend optional equipment, accessories, and additional products that complement the customer's vehicle purchase.
- Achieve sales targets established by the Vice Chairman & Managing Director and the Head of Used Cars.
- Prepare and communicate vehicle prices, quotations, applicable discounts, and financing requirements accurately.
- Advise customers on the current availability and expected availability of new vehicle models.
- Follow up with prospective customers, respond to enquiries, and maintain engagement to convert leads into sales.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships throughout the sales process.
- Coordinate vehicle delivery arrangements with the New Car Storekeeper to ensure timely and smooth handover to customers.
- Liaise with the Customer Relations Representative (Sales) to coordinate vehicle registration and insurance requirements.
- Ensure customers receive accurate information and professional assistance throughout the purchasing process.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in an automotive dealership or car sales environment.
- Experience in customer handling, vehicle presentations, sales negotiations, and follow-ups is preferred.
- Experience working towards sales targets and managing prospective customers is an advantage.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of new vehicle models, features, specifications, and performance.
- Ability to identify customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicles.
- Understanding of vehicle pricing, quotations, discounts, and financing options.
- Knowledge of vehicle registration, insurance, and aftersales services.
- Strong sales negotiation, lead follow-up, and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to coordinate vehicle delivery and related documentation with internal teams.
- Ability to work towards sales targets and contribute to showroom performance.
Languages
- Fluency in English is essential.
