THE TEAM
You will be part of the Culinary team at Rosewood Red Sea, working closely with the Events Chef de Cuisine and partnering with Events, Food & Beverage, Stewarding, and Purchasing teams. Together, you will deliver exceptional banquet, catering, and event experiences while maintaining the highest culinary standards expected within an ultra-luxury environment.
YOUR ROLE
As Sous Chef - Events, you will support the Events Chef de Cuisine in the planning, preparation, and execution of banquet, event, and catering culinary operations across the resort. You will oversee food production, team performance, and operational readiness for conferences, weddings, VIP functions, private dining experiences, and special events, ensuring exceptional quality, consistency, presentation, and flawless execution at every stage.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
Support the Events Chef de Cuisine in the daily management of banquet and event culinary operations.
Ensure all food preparation, presentation, and service meet Rosewood standards and event specifications.
Oversee culinary execution for conferences, weddings, private functions, VIP events, and special occasions.
Maintain consistency in recipes, portion control, food quality, and presentation across all event operations.
Review event requirements and coordinate with operational teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
Maintain compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and operational standards while supporting continuous improvement through guest feedback and team development.

You have strong experience within luxury hospitality, banqueting, catering, or large-scale event culinary operations.
