Jobs Duties and Responsibilities
- Contributing to the development of academic regulations and systems.
- Participating in the issuance of the annual academic calendar.
- Monitoring students' academic status and implementing the study system.
- Preparing schedules for lectures and exams for all specializations.
- Reviewing the teaching load for faculty members.
- Developing a plan to attract new students.
- Collaborating with academic departments to coordinate course schedules and exams.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential student records.
- Supervising the issuance of academic records and certificates.
- Ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements.
- Leading and guiding the registration office team, providing guidance on academic policies and procedures.
- Assessing and implementing technological solutions for registration office operations, collaborating with the IT department to ensure seamless integration.
- Collaborating with academic departments to establish admission requirements for various programs.
- Managing the admission process, including reviewing applications and assessment and selection.
- Supervising the update of student records, including grades, credit hours, and personal information.
- Implementing and managing admission and registration systems to streamline processes and enhance the student experience.
- Handling student inquiries and complaints related to admission and registration.
- Conducting periodic evaluations of admission and registration processes, seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborating with academic departments to adapt to changes in educational needs and requirements.
Qualifications
Education
- Master's degree in information systems management or a related field.
- PHD is preferred
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in higher education institutions, particularly in registration
- Strong knowledge of admission policies, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in the use of admission and registration software and systems.
- Understanding of legislation related to data protection and confidentiality.
