Role Overview
As a Floor Manager, you will be responsible for leading the front-of-house team, ensuring seamless service standards, and enhancing the guest experience in a thriving restaurant environment. As part of our team in Dubai, you'll work in an ONSITE environment, supporting daily operations and driving service excellence. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring high standards of service are maintained at all times.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the floor team, fostering a positive and professional workplace.
- Allocate staff efficiently and manage shift planning, particularly during peak service hours.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism, ensuring swift resolution.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and management teams to guarantee smooth service flow and communication.
- Support team development through on-the-job training and feedback.
- Monitor dining area presentation, cleanliness, and overall guest experience.
- Participate in achieving service and sales targets through upselling and guest engagement.
Must have requirements
- Previous experience as a Floor Manager, Restaurant Supervisor, or in a similar restaurant operations leadership role.
- Strong leadership and proven team-management skills.
- Excellent communication and outstanding customer service abilities.
- Solid understanding of front-of-house operations and restaurant service standards.
- Experience managing daily restaurant operations, staff allocation, and floor service during high-volume periods.
- Proven ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues swiftly and professionally.
Nice to have requirements
- UAE hospitality experience.
- Background in premium dining or fine-dining restaurant environments.
- Knowledge of effective upselling techniques and a track record in achieving sales goals.
- Experience in staff scheduling, roster management, and hands-on floor management.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with both kitchen back-of-house and restaurant management teams.
