About the role:
The Helicopter Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the helicopters in support of VIP and VVIP transportation missions while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, and professionalism.
Main duties include but not limited to:
- Ensure that all operational procedures and checklists are complied with, in accordance with the applicable Civil Aviation Regulations, Company Operations Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and security requirements.
- Take all measures required for safety during all phases of flight.
- Verify aircraft airworthiness and ensure all required documentation, equipment, and operational approvals are valid and available.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight planning, risk assessments, weather evaluations, and mission briefings to ensure safe mission execution.
- Delegate tasks to the crew and other suitable personnel.
- Encourage teamwork and ensure stakeholders receive all information necessary to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
