Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
To oversee cost control processes across civil construction projects, ensuring budgets are tracked accurately and reported to management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Oversee project cost tracking, budgeting and forecasting activities.
● Prepare and present cost reports and variance analysis to management.
● Coordinate with project, planning and commercial teams on cost matters.
● Review subcontractor and supplier invoices against budgeted costs.
● Identify and escalate cost risks and overruns proactively.
● Support audits and financial reviews as required.
REQUIREMENTS
● 10+ years UAE/GCC experience in cost control within civil contracting.
● Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
● Proficiency in cost control systems and MS Excel.
● Experience on large-scale building construction projects.
● Degree in Quantity Surveying, Finance, Civil Engineering or a related field.
