Purpose and Scope of Position:
The Team Lead helps their team provide best-in-class service with hospitality for our Guests. By working with, training, and coaching our Associates, the Team Lead ensures our Guests have the best time of their lives. Team Leads help our managers daily to create a Fun, One team, Excellence, Edgy Spirit and Caring environment with our associates and our guests. The Team Lead is on their way to join our management ranks by living inside of our Culture and impacting the Venue with associate engagement and development.
Main Duties:
(Job Related Duties)
- Team Leads oversee the operational execution of the delivery of food and Beverage, ensure Guests are well cared for.
- Coach and develop the Bayhosts, Caddies, Food Runners, Bar Backs and Bartenders while driving Associate Engagement
- Team Leads have general operational responsibilities related to running the venue (opening/closing, managing shifts, etc.) but they make sure these never interfere with the Guest Experience.
- Team Leads may be responsible for assisting with other specific business functions. This might include (but would not be limited to) hiring, Associate development and training, ordering and inventory management, facilities maintenance, and marketing
- Supervise the team in providing best-in-class service on a daily basis.
- Uphold operating procedures and service and safety standards, especially Guest Satisfaction.
- Does numerous table-touches to check in our associate’s performance and guest’s experience.
- Perform other operational duties as assigned by your manager, daily check list, daily briefings, and verifying Opening, Running and Closing duties are being done and finished including all cash handling inside of a shift.
- To attend off and on the job training courses as determined by Hospitality Manager / Team Leader, including refresher fire and safety trainings, food hygiene trainings and others that may attribute to the development of the level of service and enhancement of own skill.
- To ensure that all outlet colleagues adhere to company dress standards (including name badge) and personal hygiene standards.
- To assist in the development and updating of the SOP Manual for Food and Beverage Service.
- Together with the senior Food & Beverage management / Hospitality Manager to agree, implement, monitor and control Food & beverage service operating standards.
- To ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed to prevent accidents or injury to the Club’s guests and colleagues.
- To assist in the recruitment and selection of new colleagues, ensuring that headcounts are kept within agreed budget levels and that the Human Resources department is involved at all times.
- To assist the outlet manager in completing the monthly reports as per company direction before deadline.
- To take immediate action to solve guests’ problems, ensuring that mutually agreeable solutions are reached at the earliest convenient time and ensuring that decisions are made at the appropriate level.
- To keep senior food & beverage management informed of guests’ problems and action taken.
- To be actively involved in the Asset and SOE maintenance and reduce loss to the company.
