Cenomi Retail is seeking a Universe Manager for Decathlon at View Mall in Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Support with the daily store management responsibilities.
• Support in-store implementation of brand specific and generic marketing and promotion activities.
• Ensure customers are served by sales team in a timely manner in line with customer service standards.
• Maintain proper display of all merchandise in the sales floor and stock room.
• Identify the promotional products and timely apply the necessary price adjustments.
• Drive loss prevention procedures to protect company assets and properties from any form of loss including
internal & external theft.
• Audit and review inventory schedule including requisition and deliveries.
• Review daily cash sales and reconciliation.
• Complete the daily sales book and record all sales issues affecting store performance, including the KPI of
the business.
• Review P & L statement with Store Manager and discusses potential pain points in operations, sales and
manpower.
• Contribute towards enhancing sales staff performance, accomplishments and competence.
• Maintain operation standards, health and safety practices and commercial aspects of the business as per
company policy and procedures.
• Support achieving a culture of service in the store.
• Ensure that the store and staff hygiene, housekeeping & maintenance are able to create a pleasant
shopping environment and uphold the Brand and Company image at all times.
• Follow up on all store maintenance issues to ensure timely resolution.
Dimensions:
• Indirectly accountable for store’s budget, KPIs and business goals.
• Contribute towards reducing in-store employee retention.
Decision Making Authority:
• In charge of the store when the manager is not around.
• Day-to-day supervision of employees, assigning routine and non-routine tasks and assist in the schedule preparation.
Problem Solving:
• Respond to customer complaints and comments.
Communication and Working Relationships:
Internal:
• Communicate sales plans and targets to store team.
• Report to store manager any breach of policies or procedures.
External:
Positive attitude and a desire to promptly adhere to customers and to resolve potential issues or complaints
Qualifications
Academic Qualifications and Certification:
• At least completed secondary school; diploma or higher is preferred.
Experience:
• Minimum 3 years customer service/retail experience.
• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative or similar role.
• Understanding scheduling and staff level needs.
• Good understanding of store operating procedures.
• Knowledge of inventory management.
• Knowledge in MS Office.
