Employer Agreement

This agreement applies to every organisation that posts a job, buys posts or a company page, or uses the applicant tracking, Screen, Radar or workspace tools on GulfHire. It adds to our Terms of Service.

Version 1.0Effective Oct 11, 2026

In short

  • A job post is $90, live for 30 days, and is used the moment it is published.
  • Your company page includes everything with your first post and stays open while you post at least once every 3 months.
  • Candidates' information is for hiring for the job they applied to or were invited to, nothing else.
  • Every candidate you don't continue with receives a reason. Our system helps; your team decides.
  • For your workspace, you decide how your people's information is used; we process it for you.

This summary helps you read the document. The full text below is what applies.

Who this agreement is with

This agreement is between GulfHire and the organisation named in the account, order or company page ("you", "the employer"). The person who accepts it confirms that they may bind the organisation. You are responsible for your team members' use of GulfHire and for the roles you give them.

Job posts

  • A job post costs $90 and stays live for 30 days from publication. You may edit, pause or close it at any time. Posting it again afterwards is a new post.
  • You choose how candidates apply: through GulfHire, with applicant tracking, screening questions, the optional Screen and job Radar, or on your own website through a link. The price is the same.
  • Our system drafts and translates your post from what you give us. You are responsible for checking and approving every word before you publish.
  • Posts must be real, open roles, described honestly (title, location, type, pay where stated, requirements), for your own organisation or for a client who has authorised you in writing.
  • Before a post goes live, our checks may hold it for review, and we may ask for a commercial registration or other proof of the business. We may decline or remove a post that breaks this agreement, the Acceptable Use Policy or the law; see the Refund Policy for what happens to the payment.

Packs of posts

  • You can buy posts in advance in packs at the prices shown on our pricing page. Each post in a pack is a credit on your employer account.
  • Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase and are used oldest first.
  • A credit is used when you publish a job. Pausing, closing or removing the job afterwards does not return it.
  • Credits belong to the employer account, not to a person, and cannot be transferred to another organisation or exchanged for cash, except as our Refund Policy allows.

Your company page

  • You can create a company page at an address such as yourcompany.gulfhire.com for $90, which includes one job post. It also opens with your first paid job post.
  • The page stays open for 3 months from your latest paid job post or page purchase, and stays open while you post at least one job every 3 months. After that it has a 30-day grace period. If the page is still being used, for example by people in your workspace, we offer a renewal before it rests.
  • We email reminders before any change. A resting page shows a calm notice to visitors; nothing is deleted, and posting a job opens it again. After 12 months at rest the address may be released for others.
  • Your address must be your organisation's own name or brand. Addresses that could be mistaken for another organisation, a well-known brand or GulfHire are refused, and we may change an address that misleads people. Reserving an address requires a company email and holds it for 14 days.
  • You are responsible for what you publish on your page: your story, values, benefits, images and logo.

Candidates' information

Candidates trust GulfHire because their information is never for sale. When you receive candidates' information, you agree that:

  • You use it only to consider them for the job they applied to or were invited to, and to communicate with them about it.
  • You do not copy it into other databases, sell it, share it with others outside your hiring team, or contact candidates through GulfHire for unrelated purposes. You may use the CSV export only for your own hiring records for that job.
  • You keep it secure, keep it no longer than your hiring records need, and delete it when a candidate asks you to, unless the law requires you to keep it.
  • You follow the employment and anti-discrimination laws that apply to you. Screening questions and requirements must be lawful and relevant to the job.
  • Job Radar shows masked cards of matching candidates for jobs you paid for. You may invite them; you may not try to identify or contact them outside GulfHire. Invitations are limited per job per day.

Screening, our system and decisions

  • Screening questions, shortlists, rankings, Screen scores, Insights and match reasons are produced with the help of our system, which includes AI models. They are recommendations based on the information available and can be wrong.
  • Screen work is graded in two independent passes against criteria you can see, and doubtful results are reviewed by a person. You can see the evidence behind each score.
  • Your team makes every hiring decision. You must not treat a score or a shortlist as the only reason for rejecting someone, and you must review an application before rejecting it.
  • Every candidate you decide not to continue with receives a specific reason. We draft it from the facts and scores; you can edit it, and it is always sent. Reasons must be truthful and must never mention protected characteristics.
  • Tasks must not be used to obtain free work. Screen tasks use a fictional company and are not used for your business.

Your workspace: onboarding, policies and training

When you add people to your workspace, assign courses or policies, or collect signatures, you decide how that information is used, and GulfHire processes it on your behalf. In particular, we:

  • process it only to provide the workspace and on your instructions, and keep it confidential;
  • protect it with the security measures described in our Privacy Policy;
  • use only the service providers listed there, under contract;
  • help you answer your people's requests to see, correct or delete their information;
  • tell you without undue delay if we learn of a breach affecting it;
  • delete it when you delete your workspace or your page is released, except where the law requires us to keep it.

You confirm that you have the right to add your people and to use their information for onboarding, training and compliance, and that you tell them about it.

Library courses and policy templates are general guidance, not legal advice. You are responsible for making sure the courses and policies you assign are right for your organisation and the law that applies to you.

Fees, invoices and tax

Prices are in US dollars and are paid by card when you order. You receive a receipt and an invoice by email, and they are kept in your billing page. No sales tax or VAT is added today; if your organisation must account for tax on services bought from abroad (reverse charge), you remain responsible for it. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

Suspension

We may hold, remove or suspend posts, pages, workspaces or accounts that break this agreement, the Acceptable Use Policy or the law, or that put candidates at risk. We will explain why unless the law or safety prevents it. If we remove a post because of a breach, the post is not refunded.

Responsibility

The limits of responsibility in our Terms of Service apply. You are responsible for your hiring decisions, your job content, your employment terms and your use of candidates' information, and you will cover reasonable costs that GulfHire incurs because of a claim arising from them, to the extent the law allows.

Term and ending

This agreement applies while you use GulfHire as an employer. You can close your employer account by writing to [email protected]. Sections on candidates' information, the workspace and responsibility continue after it ends.

Law, changes and contact

This agreement is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, as described in our Terms of Service. We may update it; the version and date at the top show which text applies, and we email employers before an important change takes effect. Questions: [email protected]. Billing: [email protected].
